I stayed here 4 nights on business with several coworkers. We all really enjoyed this hotel and its location to many restaurants. The studio room was clean and the perfect size for just me --one bed with a kitchenette. I really only needed the refrigerator though to keep my drinks cold. There's a CVS nearby to buy drinks or other... More

Newer Residence Inn. The rooms are new and clean. Great location in Gas Lamp district. Very friendly staff always wanting to be helpful. Food was good and above average for Residence Inns. I would stay there on my next trip to San Diego More

I had read all the good reviews, and so I expected the hotel to be quite good, but it exceeded my expectations. In particular, my husband is a very light sleeper, and so I was a bit worried about staying in the gaslamp district. However, on our first day there, he said, "I can see a helicopter outside, but I... More

A great location for exploring San Diego; we love being so close to bars, restaurants and nightlife without our good night's sleep being interrupted! Comfy beds, clean rooms, decent breakfast (though, like another reviewer said - a bit samey after a few days) wonderful, friendly and well-informed reception staff. We'd definitely stay here on our next trip to San Diego. More

Nice hotel; accessible to the ball park, shopping and restaurants (come hungry because it seems as if there are hundreds). Must walk to the Yard House and experience Bub's on gameday. Great customer service and valet staff. Kitchenette is a nice feature; not so sure it's worth it unless you are staying for extended period (we stayed three nights). Breakfast... More

Location in Gaslamp District, 5-10 minutes from Convention Centre. Rooms with mini kitchen and fridge-freezer. Helpful, welcoming staff. Also close to San Diego Padres baseball ground - 'ballgame' special deal was good value. More

We spent 4 nights at the Residence Inn and with the AAA discount we got a good rate. The rooms was a good size, clean, included a kitchenette, quiet and the beds were comfortable. internet worked well and the breakfasts were ok (just - after 4 days we were looking for something different). The location meant that we were able... More

A group of us stayed here for a couple of nights before my "destination" wedding, and everyone loved it. The location was perfect for us, we didn't have to use the car once since everything is in walking distance. The price for the stay was inexpensive (around $204 a night including tax), although parking was a bit steep at $38... More

A great Marriott property located in the heart of the Gas Lamp district. Within walking distance of amazing restaurants and shopping. The hotel is clean, updated and had fantastic views of the bay. I traveled with friends using my Marriott rewards points and the staff could not have been more accommodating with customer service their number one priority. We asked... More

Friendly service, clean hotel. Great location for walking to the Petco Park ball diamond, Gaslamp Quarter and Convention Ctr. Lots and lots of restaurants, shopping and probably night life. We had a Studio room (#816) over looking pool (quiet), okay for a couple of nights. The suite might have been better because the living room would have been separate. We... More
