Needing a break from the frozen tundra, we headed west to San Diego. We stayed at Paradise Point Resort & Spa for 5 nights and loved it. This tropical island resort offers a variety of activities…so many that we didn’t get a chance to do all of them in our short stay…5 pools, a beautiful sandy beach, lawn games, volleyball,... more

Nicely remodeled but the tile floors need throw rugs because they are ice cold. Hard to believe that a hotel of this cost doesn't even give you a micro wave or coffee maker.Great location wonderful lay out. The heater/air conditioner made so much noise we had to have it off during cold weather when trying to sleep. more

We have stayed here many times and enjoy it. The last time we scored an amazing room rate (usually $200+ a night, was only $99) and I noticed a few changes... no coffee in the room, less amenities, overall not as high-end. Perhaps with the economy in the current state they are trying to appeal to larger crowd. The rooms... more

My friends and I stayed at this resort for Thanksgiving last year. We had the garden-view room. The room was renovated nicely - nice hard wood floors and nice beds. Our "private" garden was amazing. However, some parts of the room still showed how old/run-down the room used to be. The walls and the bar/counter area were dated. The microwave... more

Setting is beautiful but the accomodation was average to run down down. The suite reeked of mold and mildue. When requests were made for disability accomodation we were completely ignored. The parking is a hidden 25.00 per day more, the internet no wireless was 10.00 per day.The site is set on 40.00 acres which is lovely but the gardeners have saws going non... more

Two words: tourist trap. The decor is reminiscent of Disney World's Polynesian Village. Gag. Horrible customer service. Check-in took forever. There was a wedding party in front of us trying to check in. The bride-to-be was frantic. The front desk service did not seem to care. There is no disclosure of the parking fees, which are about $20/day. A 'valet'... more

We recently stayed with our 3 kids. we stayed in a brand new room on the bay and it was out of this world/ i felt like we were in Hawaii at a fraction of the cost. The service was first class and we will return very soon. more

I stayed at Paradise Point many years ago and WOW has it changed! I remember it being a nice beach themed resort with some much needed TLC and I was thrilled with their newly renovated rooms. The room I had was designed with a kind of Balinese feel and it was gorgeous. Fantastic beds and large TV's. The lovely grounds... more

We had a wonderful time there. The rooms aren't the greatest, but we stayed on the Lagoon side and the view was AMAZING! Bring plenty of money to feed the ducks, they are lots of fun! more
