The clear negative is that it is well out of the city centre, but this is mitigated by the tram stop literally across the road which gets you close to the city centre without the parking grief.

This hotel is right off Hwy 8 and near lots of great places. You can hit the Mission Valley Mall during the day, and go out in Hillcrest for dinner at night! We didn't have breakfast or use the spa at the hotel, that is the only reason I marked it as average.
