Really liked the Pacific Terrace hotel. It's a smaller three story hotel overlooking Pacific Beach, separated from the beach by the popular 3 1/2 mile boardwalk. Well appointed rooms. Great service. Kids loved daily turn-out service with fancy chocolates (milk & dark) in a cute cloth bag. Daily operation/service gave the feel of upscale hotel with daily-printed note in the room with photos and name of front desk folks working that day/evening and tomorrow's weather forecast. I brought a group to the Pacific Terrace in December, 2007, knowing only what I learned from tripadvisor. Our stay could not have been better, from the excellent group sales manager, to the front desk staff, to the amazing accomodations and view. It was perfect in every way. We wanted to stay at a nice place where we could sit and look at the ocean, and walk to as many seafood restaurants as possible, and the Pacific Terrace was perfect for that.
