I checked in to a single room from 5 - 7 Apr 2012. The room was on 2nd floor with shared bathroom. The room had ample space, with single bed, a study table and wardrobe. The doors were using traditional key, and it was not convenient to open the door with only 1 free hand (imagine being back from shopping... More

My husband & I just returned from a truly enjoyable trip to Boston. Boston is a beautiful city and is an expensive place to stay with hotel rates $300 & up per night for a 4-5 star hotel. We would never have found this hidden gem on the Internet had we not put in a price search. Reviews on Trip... More

Fantastic location though the rooms leave a bit to be desired. Our water pressure was horrible and the bathroom was freezing. You can hear every guest coming and going throughout the night and into the morning. The bed was lumpy and the floor creaky- the B&B is in desperate need of some upgrades. In the future, I'd rather spend the... More

I picked this hotel after reading previous reviews and wasn't disappointed. Situated on the wonderful Commonwealth Avenue it is a beautiful building and I had a very cosy room full of character which made a nice change - creaky floorboards and all ! Check in was easy and the shared bathroom, which I was a little unsure about, was clean... More

You cannot beat this hotel for location. On Commonwealth Ave, near a green, the oldest garden in the country, and two blocks from the green line on Boston's metro. A beautiful brownstone with loads of history. We were in the Connecticut which is a very large and beautifully appointed room. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our water pressure was... Loved this place. The staff was fantastic. I managed to show up during the Back Bay Blackout, but the staff took it in stride. Candles for all the guests, and no key cards (good old fashion brass keys!) meant I had a place to stay while folks at the "upscale" places were out on the street! Small room, but I'm... More

Great location, good prices. I stayed in a small single bedroom, with shared bathroom, but you can get huge bedrooms with private bath if you want. Good location, walking distance from all the high street shops. I would definitely check it again if I have to stay in Boston. There is no room service and my room wasn't cleaned every... More

I am a travel-maximizer. I like to get value in all my experiences. The College Club hits the mark in almost every category of trip perfection. I chose it as it was walk able from the Back Bay station and we were arriving by train from Providence. I had not realized that the location was on Newbury Street and walking... More

I LOVEd this place!! My husband is from Auburn, MA and we flew up for a quick weekend stay to surprise his dad. The real surprise was finding that this bargain of a price hotel was the most amazing adorable place I've stayed at in a long time. We had a beautiful room (the vassar) on the top floor, even... I thoughly enjoyed my stay at the College Club! I was visiting my brother in the Boston area who is quite ill, and your lovely and charming B&B allowed me just the peace and quiet I needed at such a time. Additionaly, I thought the decor perfectly kept the charm of old Boston. I had no problem with the shared... More
