LOVED IT~ LOVED IT~ LOVED IT~!!~ Steps way from the subway, Fenway "Go Red Sox", shopping, site seeing and the Service was FABULOUS!!! Will I stay there again...?? "HECK YEA" I will... I've attached a picture of Fenway taken from the hotel. That's how close you are to the ballpark. Enjoy!! more

I am joining the chorus for this hotel. Large, comfotable, rooms and bathroom, interesting decor, clean, etc. Front Desk very polite, professional, accommodating and friendly. Location is superb for baseball--around the corner from Fenway Park. Staff is superb-- rather continental with lots of accents. Service is outstanding. The three components of a great hotel and the Hotel Commonwealth met or exceeded expectations on each. If you are expecting any change in your itinerary, reconsider. Hotel has a strict policy of not making changes within 36 hours. They are very non-accomodating! If you cancel they will also charge you an additional day. So if you plan to stay for a day and want to cancel they will tell you you need to pay more. Also... more
