“A bargain, but with compromises”

We stayed here while in Boston for a couple of days. At $100 per night for 3 people (2 double beds) it was a bargain. It is kind of a basic B&B. Don't expect a lot of service, no front desk or anything. You ring a buzzer for someone to hopefully come. We are Unitarian, so there was no problem... More

Eliot & Pickett House is charming, comfortable, and reasonably priced. A lovely home-away-from-home where you can get to know the other guests. Very convenient to Boston Common, the State House, the Freedom Trail, and other downtown attractions.Sadly, a few years ago the uppity neighbors on Beacon Hill decided that they didn't like having a B&B in their midst.
