Lovely, quiet, safe neighborhood. Close to Back Bay station and in walking distance to delightful restaurants and attractions. B&B clean but in need of refurbishing. Price was reasonable. Breakfast was minimal. Congenial host but never around during the day. More

We stayed 3 nights at this place. We got a studio on the second floor, this is a room with private bathroom, a fridge, a microwave and a mini kitchen. We only used the fridge where we could store our juice, water and yogurts. There was also a coffee machine , coffee capsules and sugar sachets available for free to... More

My husband and I went with a Boston B&B association's recommendation to stay at 82 Chandler Street (also known as Verona B&B). What it wasn't was a B&B (apparently, because our room had a hotplate and microwave, they determined that we weren't worthy of breakfast...never mind that it was equiped with exactly two bowls, two mugs, one spoon, and a... We recently stayed at 82 Chandler for 3 nights. We booked the trip last minute and didn’t have many options in central Boston so this was the best we could find. We paid $215 a night which I think is fine for Boston but for the room we got I find it was overpriced. Plus was charge 5% for using... More

We stayed 4 nights last week and absolutely loved it. Don't stay if you want a contemporary room - stay if you like a bit of character, if you like a congenial breakfast with your host and other guests. We had great breakfasts - Dominic makes his own blueberry jam - absolutely fantastic, good coffee and excellent fresh fruit -... More

First of all, if you are looking for a high end, $300 a night, specialty inn furnished in priceless antiques with large flat screen TVs and staff catering to your every whim, this is probably not for you. If you are looking for a quaint 5 room B & B (or Inn if you prefer) on a very quiet tree... More

At the end of the 80's we stayed several times at 82 Chandler with Dennis and Dominick. It was our "home away from home" as we traveled from Japan to see our son at BU. We loved the charm of the house, the decor and comfort of the rooms, the hospitality and good breakfasts afforded by the innkeepers, and the... More

We spent three nights at 82 Chandler St. celebrating our anniversary. This brownstone was located in a charming neighborhood within close walking distance to shopping and lots of great restaurants as well as the city transit system. Though the house needed some work and seemed "in progress" as far as decorating goes, the room was clean and adequate. Both hosts... More

We have just returned from 82. The B&B was magnificent, cozy. We felt like at home. Our room was nicely decorated and very clean. Place is well kept. We have got good breakfast with lot of fresh fruits on the table. Inkeeper was very helpful but let us all the space we needed to feel free and content. Each room/studio... More
