If you book this hotel at a decent rate and understand that you are not going to be staying in the 4 Seasons, then you will be satisfied. The hotel is located close to what most people would like to do in Boston....either by walk or a quick cab ride. The rooms are OK. Definitely outdated and a bit dingy.... more

My room was nice, I got it at a good rate online, it was cleaned immaculately each day, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom facilities were fine and clean. It would have been good to have had a refrigerator but there was an ice machine on my floor. The room had good heating and air conditioning if you wanted... more

When I first heard we were staying at the Park Plaza where my husband was going to be at a conference and I was going for leisure, I was very excited. I've always heard the name and thought it would be the epitome of comfort and elegance. I was wrong. The Best Western I stayed at in a small town... more

Like other review the lobby was very impressive! The room very small, bathroom extremely dated!!! We were staying for five nights unfortunately our daughter became ill on the way over which turned into a bad flu we ask for some hot water to be sent to our room to make a hot drink as there was no kettle in the... more

The hotel enjoys a good location, and is housed in a historic building. The lobby is beautiful, and there are several restaurants on site. One drawback is very small bathrooms with little counter space. The windows are not insulated, so the street noise can be disturbing. more

I agree with other travelers. Although the lobby appears impressive, my room was very small and bathroom was outdated. The door to the room look like the entrance to a refrigerator or casket. I checked out one day early because I was claustrophobic. Hotel staff was adequate. Would not recommend this to a friend even though it is very convenient... more

Was slightly apprehensive about the Park Plaza, particularly as my stay there was to celebrate my honeymoon with my new wife, however, I was pleasantly surprised on arrival. The building itself is very grand as is the decor in the lobby. It has an excellent postion, within walking distance of many of Boston's attractions. It also helps that its only... more

This relic of the depression was pretty depressing. Yes, it is very nice that they claim to be the first hotel that invented some crazy gizmo on the room door that allows the cleaners to return your laundry without disturbing you , but that same gizmo is a nice metaphor for this place - currently useless, out of service, and... more
