This hotel is nice with a very nice staff. We stayed here to see the Biltmore. The location is in a quiet area of town, away from the hustle of the Biltmore. The staff goes out of their way to tend to your needs. BUT, we could not sleep because of the creaking floors above us. It doesn't take much... more

We are so glad that you felt well cared for by our excellent staff during your stay here at the Princess Anne! We do apologize for the creaky floors that disturbed your rest. The Princess Anne Hotel was built in 1924 and every care was taken in the renovation to retain the original feel of the building while expanding the...

I've stayed at the Princess Anne twice and both times were perfect. It's listed as a bed and breakfast but serves as a small hotel. The rooms are lovely, well-appointed and the breakfast is terrific, but what really stands out is the training of the staff. Whoever set the standards for service deserves kudos. more

We'll just confirm what other reviews say: this place is really wonderful. We could have gone to Grove Park Inn, but we prefer the intimacy of a smaller hotel like this. it's very close to downtown, so it's easy to get around Asheville. Lots of good restaurants nearby. The pre-fixe breakfast, served in a very relaxing dining room, and afternoon... more

Three of us, ages 57 to 89 (mother), went to see the Biltmore at Christmas. We found this place on the internet looking for a B & B, but it is not one at all. It is a boutique hotel that includes breakfast. It has a very “antique” feel in appearance, but all of the bathroom fixtures are modern, and... more

I recently was in Asheville to visit family. I usually stay with them but this time I though I wanted a bit of time to myself in the morning. I was very happy that i selected the Princess Anne. Since it is really a B&B I had breakfast in the lovely dining room. The food is fine with two choices... more

When we arrived Friday evening, one of us was badly ill. The staff gave us a couple of bananas and apple juice, gratis, to calm her stomach. We changed rooms the next day (as planned); to keep my wife from possibly being kicked out of the room, sick, the staff cleaned our room next room first. The social hour (90... more

Very helpful staff. Does have wood floors...if you don't like squeaks or noises from above you might prefer a different hotel. Convenient parking. more

This place was great. I took my gf there for her birthday and told the girl taking the reservation that was the occasion. She put complementary bubbly in the room with a bouquet of really nice roses and a handwritten card. The rooms a nice, very spacious, comfortable beds. I cannot say enough about The Princess Anne Hotel...It is intimate, yet the staff respects your privacy...the breakfast is prepared in a European fashion with top quality ingredients...the grounds are gorgeous and the Hotel cat, Dina, is an added boon!!! I adore the staff and will treasure the moments until I can return...;) more

We love your visits too K.! The "hotel cat" belongs to the night manager. She enjoys greeting and mingling with guests on the porches, but she has her own home separate from the main hotel. Thank you for the great review! All of us here at the Princess Anne look forward to your next visit. Cheers!
