Overall a surprise find. An excellent place to stay and at a reasonable price. A train runs nearby a couple of times a night so request a room in the back (south end) of the hotel for a more quiet experience.

We have stayed here several times over the past few years. Always clean comfortable rooms. Good hot breakfast every morning. All of the hotels in La Junta are located along highway 50. The rail road tracks run parallel to the highway. You will hear the trains occasionally at night as the pass.
