I try to avoid chain hotels and chose this B & B because it sounded tranquil and away from the main streets. It was a great choice! The Inn is tucked up a hill at the end of a road and is very quiet. The room was very comfortable and the outside entrance right next to parking was very convenient.... More

We booked a room at very short notice for one night during the Memorial Day weekend and were very happy with the accommodation and the breakfast. The hosts were charming (he said that he was probably the only person in Los Alamos who had never worked at the National Lab!) - as longtime area residents, they were very knowledgeable and... More

We returned, once again, to Adobe Pines B&B seeking its comfortable ambience and friendly staff for the beginning of a tour of the Jemez Mountains ~ i.e., ancient indian sites at Bandelier Nat. Mon., high mountain scenery at Valle Caldera Nat. Preserve, and dramatic views at Jemez Falls St. Pk. We found, again, an Adobe-Modern building on a cliff overlooking... More

Always stay at Adobe Pines B&B when I travel to Los Alamos. I've stayed there at least a dozen times over the last 6 - 8 years. It is a beautiful adobe house located off the end of a cul-de-sac in a very up scale neighborhood, away from the hotels and fuss of the National Laboratory complex. The house is... More

We stayed in the inn while on a business trip. It's in a beautiful spot, with a great view of Los Alamos. The main house's windows have an amazing outlook on the valley. The owner is very friendly, quickly took care of everything. The b&b is very well kept, clean, fresh, felt very nicely homey on cold days. They serve... More

Thought I'd spend a couple of extra days in the area just to relax after attending a conference in Santa Fe. Booked a room with a jacuzzi tub that looked nice in the online pictures. I called the day that I would be checking in, to be sure that a slightly later check-in would be okay (I was going to... More

We stayed here while in town for a wedding in the ‘East’. The room was very clean and the staff was very nice and friendly. The location was a bit odd being in a housing subdivision and right next to a middle school but it was generally quiet and felt more low key and much more relaxed then staying in... More

First, it is not air conditioned. This is not that big a deal in the mountains of New Mexico, but if you're used to constant AC, it will feel stuffy and uncomfortable. They do provide fans though. The outfit that advertises for them claims "spectacular views and private patio/balcony." Be warned that it's not for all rooms. There are views... More

Very nice property, adobe style, with an indoor swimming pool (alas, not for use). Nice rooms, very quiet living area. A clever alternative to hotels with sensible rates. Nice chats at the breakfast table - you wont get this in a hotel More
