For a place with so many natural attractions and a reasonably good tourist infrastructure, Moab seems surprisingly lean on compelling lodging facilities. There’s the stunning Red Cliffs Lodge up on 128 but that place involves a 20 to 30 minute drive to town. We were lucky enough to get one of the last rooms available at the Aarchway Inn over a nearly sold out Labor Day weekend. great service and rooms. The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. Terrific continental breakfast and Helen H. was a great person with the breakfast. Kept things clean and tidy. The rooms were clean, cool, and met all of our needs. The hotel has a great breakfast and was a very comfortable place to stay. It is a little outside of town, so you need to drive to most places, which was the only drawback. more
