I agree with the other reviewers, if your expecting the ritzi's dont stay here but if your looking for clean and comfortable hostel the lazy lizard wont disappoint. We stayed in a private twin room, which for $30 between two you can not complain. The room was clean and comfortable. It was basic but that is all that we required.... More

Second time I have stayed. Private room (shared facilities) for under $30pn. Complete bargain. Whilst tatty and faded on the edges it all worked fine for me. It has far more character than a cookie-cutter-motel at a third of the cost. They will get my business again!

This place isn't fancy but its cheap and clean and after a day of hiking that's all I was looking for. don't expect luxury for 10 to 30 bucks a night. If you don't mind community showers and restrooms this is the place. Since it was so inexpensive I was able to have money for other things. I stayed 2... More

In the winter or early spring just being inside is a big step above camping. We reserved a private cabin and cozied up for the night. The cabin came with a large space heater which was sufficient to keep the room warm. It was very rustic, no tv, no closet, no coffee pot. The room had the bare minimum when... More

We stayed here after extending our trip in Moab and realizing that we had to budget ourselves if we wanted to stay longer. Our only regret was not staying here originally. as soon as we arrived it was like our trip just got way better. People were coming in and out after their adventures and everyone was hanging out as... More

I stayed here several years ago and it has not changed. This time we rented a private room in this hostel which had a full sized lower and twin upper bunkbed. The room does not have a bathroom, but the shared bathhouse is right outside. They also rent single beds in male, female or coed rooms for $10/night. The private... More

A typical American house in the suburbs, suggested also by the guide Routard. Great place if u wanna relax and have a nice sleep. Clean, quite and decent. We spent only one night but this place was great fro us. Really good choice.

Stayed here in summer loved the place, specially those beautiful cabins with affordable price, I cancelled my reservation in downtown hotel where it was way expensive, Staff was very friendly & nice always ready to help, place was clean, most important they kept the wild natural landscaping, Also we met lots of interesting people throughout our stay, very family oriented... We never expected to have such a good time after retiring for the evening. We met the most interesting people; one guy was a professional "crazy guy" who made his living doing absolutely insane stunts on bikes and other sports equipment. Another woman was working on some highly advanced soils studies, another couple cycling through from who knows where because... More

Check recent pictures We just got here, got private rooms without heating when -8F outside.. Not clean, or safe.. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone.. The owner did offer us other rooms with heating after asking. But these are bloody hot and even less clean.. There's tape on the contacts We'll see how we go. First some food
