This, by far, made our trip the best ever; We checked in at the Bed n Breakfast Friday afternoon and stayed til Sunday late morning. Can I say . . . AMAZING!! The owners were the best - cute cute rooms, food DELICIOUS, (had our dinner catered in Sat night by an amazing chef). The rooms were very clean and... More

My fiancee and I wanted a nice place for a quiet winter getaway. The Pinehurst Inn was perfect. Our room was in the main house and was quaint but with some modern conveniences, like the corner whirlpool tub. There was also a kitchenette with small refrigerator, plates, glasses, and silverware in the upstairs. Breakfast was tasty and beautifully presented. The... More

Steve & Nancy run an inn that focuses on sustainability without sacrificing comfort or elegance. We stayed in the garden house in the Brownstone Room which was spacious, full of light and quiet. The tub (air jets, not water!) and the fireplace were very appreciated. The in-floor heat was very nice to our feet. And the breakfasts were divine! Fresh,... More

The Pinehurst is a very beautiful & relaxing place. My husband & I stayed in June and although our trip was somewhat spoiled by very bad weather, the Pinehurst was a delight for the time we did stay. The room was beautiful and thougtfully done. The only thing I would note is that not all rooms have king size beds.... More

My husband & I stayed here over Applefest weekend this past weekend. We are both positive that this is the best the area has to offer! We stayed in the garden house over the living area & it was clean, private & quiet. The room & private bathroom were lovely & spacious. We loved the setting, close proximity to town... More

For the green geeks they have it all- They are green beyond the usual with offering recycling, green cleaning, and reusable water bottles to go, and have even installed solar. The breakfast is beyond fabulous. The rooms are just the right mix of old and new and green but not over the top. Situated on a river, with a sauna... More

This beautiful, old home is about 2 miles from Bayfield and nestled right next to the street that leads to Big Top Chatauqua (which I highly recommend). Though not right in town, Pinehurst is quiet and offers lovely surroundings. The owners are kind and informative--very helpful in guiding you to good restaurants and activities. If you love B&B experiences, this... More

We had a fabulous time staying at at the Pinehurst Inn in Bayfield! The breakfasts were yummy and the suggestions Nancy gave for activities and restaurants were very helpful. The Inn is gorgeous, and the grounds--with all of the beautiful flowers and huge, shady trees--are lovely and so peaceful! Nancy and Steve have a history of their home/Inn in a... More

Nancy and Steve do a wonderful job as inkeepers at this combination of a grand old Victorian matched to a modern built "green" garden house. Nancy's gardens are mostly native plants and run wild throughout the property. The location two miles outside of Bayfield makes it convenient but also private and quiet. The rooms in the older house are smaller,... More
