Great Bayfield location. We stayed in a king room, no jacuzzi. Room had a private balcony overlooking the lake. Room was very small; it had a small frig and microwave, renovated bathroom & sink; sink was located in the room, not in the bathroom. No coffeepot in the room, a very basic continental breakfast and coffee was available in the... More

In most locations, the Bayfront Inn would be just adequate, and therefor overpriced. The room is like every motel room everywhere, at least every updated room in every legitimate chain - Americinn, most Radisons, Holiday, etc. But these rooms, especially those on the upper floor, have private decks which are across the street from Lake Superior. The sunrises are incredible.... More

We had a nice stay here, , friendly people abound in Bayfield and here is no expection. The rooms are pretty small but all you need in a "cozy" way.The view from our room was outstanding, the cofee and a sweetie in the morning was very nice to have. Parking is a premium so one car is all you should... More

This hotel was much better than I anticipated. The room was updated, and looked recently renovated. Our room was located over the front office with a great view of the lake and ferry service. We were in room 2. Everything in the room was updated, nice, comfortable beds, extremely clean. We have absolutely no complaints whatsoever about the room or... More

My husband and I just got back from lovely a 3 night stay for our anniversary. We were in room #4. First thing I noticed was how clean and comfortable the room was. We had a great view of the ferry terminal and Madeline Island. We sat on our balcony and watched the sun rise over Madeline Island each morning.... More

My husband and I decided on a last minute "get-away" and decided on Bayfield, Wisconsin to stay in for the night. We chose the Bay Front Inn from the internet. The reservation was easy. Check in was easy. The staff was courteous. The room was AWESOME!!! The view was FABULOUS!!!! We had a huge room. It took up the entire... More

Stayed at the Bay Front Inn for a weekend and I hated to leave. The rooms were cozy and nicely decorated. Most of them have private decks with a great view. Their fresh bakery in the morning is to die for! They make it fresh in their restaraunt and it is complimentary to guests along with Victor Allen coffee and... More

A room with a deck overlooking the lake turned out to be a deck on the street looking at two buildings with a slight view of the lake. The toilet dripped all night and by morning did not flush at all. When the manager/owner came ot fix it, he was very angry and rude and said "someone" turned the valve.... More

All the rooms in the Bayfront Inn face the biggest lake in the country, Lake Superior. The Bayfront Inn is more like a motel than a hotel, but I think most of the "hotels" in the area are. The room was clean and cozy, with a private deck, facing the lake. The bathroom is a little small, and the sink... More
