As others have mentioned, the location just can’t be beat. The staff was fantastic and the building had so much charm. The location was fabulous, close to the streetcars (1 Block), China town (2 Blocks) coner store (opposite) and Union Square 2 blocks away, its central to everything. A thoroughly enjoyable time at WM SF. We came up from the South Bay for a getaway night out. The location is perfect, near the theatre district, Chinatown, and Union Square. My husband and I stayed in a studio room. It was on a corner of the street. Even with windows shut, we could hear the noises outside. Across the street there was a night club. My sister and I stayed in a Deluxe 1 bedroom 2 bathroom room for 5 nights. Loved the location, loved the staff. They were extremely helpful and friendly. Especially James! I stayed just up the street from the Juliana over the Labor Day weekend. Thought everyone should know that it is now closed and construction is underway to convert it into timeshares. Too bad, based on what everyone said here. more
