On first impressions this place is quite rundown looking and the lobby room isnt very welcoming. (they were going through repairs) However, the staff make up for that. Very friendly people to greet you. The rooms were good, provided with your own locker (i was in a 4 bed all F room) and you have your own outlet by your... More

We got a private en suite room. Very clean and spacious. Go for it, spend a little more to have some privacy, a view and a big toilet. Felt like a hotel, but hostel price. Breakfast is FREE. Yummy bagels (lots of them with different flavours), fruits, cereals,...more than any other hostel will provide. Very nice kitchen area. Very clean... More

It was my first time staying in a hostel. I really enjoyed this hostel for it's location and cleanliness. The free breakfast was also very enjoyable. I stayed in a 4 bed mix, and I loved the fact that there was a sink in our room. The showers were very clean, our beds were made every day. Some people complain... More

Nice room, great location, friendly and helpful staff. The clientel were nice but since I was there just a few hours (to get sleep), I interacted primarily with the front desk staff. All were VERY helpful. I was glad I got a single room that happened to have a sink (it also had a microwave and refrigerator which I didn't... More

As far as hostels go, this one is top notch. We stayed in a private room with bathroom, so it was basically like a hotel, for a lot cheaper. Very clean, we'll maintained. Prime location. Fun activities too, the pub crawl was great.

Very, very nice hostel, a little expensive for a hostel, but this one was really clean and well maintained. I stayed in an all-female dorm which was pretty spacious. The lockers were big enough to put your luggage in, bathrooms were really clean, and the people are friendly and helpful. It's a great base to explore San Francisco. Public transportation's... More

I like the location, I did not know that this was such a party hostel though. Staff were very friendly, and nice. Beds are comfortable. One thing that really stuck out to me about this place, was in the lockers there were power outlets, as well as outlets that are attached to both levels of the bunk beds. The free... More

Stayed here with my fiancé in early march. Very clean and comfortable room, staff are very pleasant, great tourist information posted around the hostel and a free continental breakfast included in the morning. The only thing was it was very noisy. Constant banging of door, I think, which may be a problem if you are a light sleeper. Based on... More

Staff were helpful, rooms were decently sized. We stayed in an all female four bedroom dorm with ensuite. Regarding cleanliness - there was a used mug next to my bed with cold tea in it (gross), not a pleasant encounter when one is crawling into bed. Breakfast was varied with plenty of bagels readily available and the wifi was decent... More

I stayed five nights in January 2013 and had a very good time. The location is great. I stayed in a four-person room with a sink and closet. Each bunk bed had an individual light and an AC Outlet for plugging in personal items. Each locker also had an AC outlet so I could charge my laptop in my absence.... More
