This hotel is comfortable, room a good size, beds very comfy. Use AAA or CAA for upgraded room. You don't need a car for San Franscisco sites. Transit system or walking is all you need. We stayed here in jan 2012 was great to be so close to the wharf, could walk there in 3mins rooms were clean , good size not bad price. Drinks in the bar were expensive but there are plenty of local places to go get a drink or food at. More

First off, it's $45 a day for parking. Take that into account when you book a stay here, if you are driving. The staff here were the friendliest staff I have even come across in a hotel. We booked through hotwire so were not sure what to expect- we were sooooo happy!!! The rooms were large and comfortable. The bed was absolutely divine, the pillows fluffy and the sheets crisp. Location was great as we were in walking distance of loads of shops and restaurants. Parking was very expensive but that was the only negative. More
