My husband and I recently spent four nights at the Hyatt at Fisherman's Wharf and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We upgraded to an Executive Suite and the space was wonderful. While the sparse feng shui feel to the rooms is not to my taste, the bed was very comfortable and we had no problem sleeping. The hotel is very convenient... more

This was our 2nd time here. We aren't crazy about staying in Fisherman's Wharf area as it dies early but the cable car stops right behind the hotel & the streecars go a block to the front. If you buy a one week pass (about $25) you can use it all very cheaply but buying single rides on the cable... more

Stayed at the Hyatt at Fisherman's Wharf in September 2009. Was very happy with the location. This was our first visit to San Francisco, and we were so happy to find ourselves close to everything. The Wharf itself is within walking distance of the hotel, as was Lombardo Street, Ghirardelli Square and several other attractions. AT&T Park, the Alcatraz Tour... more

The Hyatt at Fisherman's Wharf is located close to lots of tourist activities but even better close to public transport to get around the city. The rooms are nice, if somewhat small for two people. The staff are very nice and very helpful, especially the men who work outside parking the cars who are also an encyclopedia of information about... more

We have truly enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is very clean and modern. Comfortable rooms. Friendly staff who really know the area, and made good recommendations for dinner and sight seeing. If you can get away during the week, you can get some great deals on rates here too. The tourists are gone, so the City is yours. We... more

Stayed here one night (New Year's Day). I was impressed with the hotel rooms - they exceded my expectations. They were on the small side but very clean, well appointed, and had a comfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom had a rainshower in it which was fun (there is no bathtub). Free tube of toothpaste which was great because we'd just... more

We got this hotel for under $100 thru Priceline over the christmas weekend. Everything was fair to pretty good, BUT if you are driving, the hotel guest Parking fee is $45/night! And this is only Valet parking, so with tip it is more like a $50 parking fee! Street parking is also very limited in the Fisherman's wharf area, though... more

Just completed a three night stay here. Being a GP Diamond I use Hyatt when I can. Unfortunately in a great luxury hotel town there is no 5 star product from the chain, with the conversion of the old Park Hyatt into a Starwood joint. Of the 3 remaining properties, FW provided an excellent rate so we booked it, not... more

The service was friendly and professional. The room was large and modern. The bed large and comfortable. The bath was modern and spacious. Everything is super clean. The location is great for the traveler in Fisherman's Wharf. The staff was more than helpful with my rental car and restaurant recommendations. I have no negative things to say about this hotel. more

I'd definitely recommend this Hyatt for a lot of reasons, but I'll list what I think the pros and cons are so that prospective guests can make up their own minds about the place. Pros: The biggest thing is the location. It's just a block or so from a lot of the touristy attractions, which are a little cheezy but... more
