We booked this through Hotwire, so we didn't know before we booked. It was a very pleasant surprise at a decent rate. We got a free upgrade to a king room, which was definitely the nicest hotel room I've ever had. The location is pretty ideal, about 5 mins walk from Market. Cannot and will not fault this property in the city. Beautifully appointed, high quality facilities, beautifully comfortable bed and a breathtaking view of the sunrise. Its hard to expalain how fast things can go wrong. My conference-attending husband was fine in at 5pm and needed an emergency room at 5am the next morning. The hotel not only have a concierge on duty at 5am -- but the guy conjured up a taxi and sent us to an excellent hospital. For those familiar with big city... more
