The Orchard Garden Hotel has exceeded our expectations--for a second time. We returned because we love the location, the rooms, the green concept and the staff. Pay a little extra for the "view" rooms and be treated with a balcony and spacious quarters. We will look forward to returning to this great boutique hotel again. more

Stayed in August 2009 for 3 nights. Rooms had a very clean and uncluttered feel to them. Decent size television and free in-room wireless internet was an absolute bonus. Loved the green concept! Green hotel from the recycled materials to build it to the recycling bins in each room. The hotel staff was extremely helpful with whatever we needed (directions, restaurant recommendations, holding our luggage after checkout until we actually left, etc). What a great place to stay! Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was a good size, and the organic toiletries are yummy. The meat-heavy menu in the restaurant was the one surprising exception to the hotel's environmentally friendly practices. We'd stay there again any day. more

Absolutely the greenest and eco-friendliest hotel in San Francisco. The rooms are comfortable and inviting like your own bedroom and the staff accommodating and always friendly like family. This is a very modern "Green" hotel - rooms had separate bins for bottles, paper, trash, etc. Everything seemed very clean and well maintained. Front desk staff were friendly and attentive.
