Taylor Hotel is a decent and surprisingly inexpensive hotel, located right in the heart of downtown San Francisco, near Union Square and all the restaurants, clubs and shopping. It is just 2 blocks from the cable car route on Powell St, 4 blocks to the BART station, and has bus routes all over the place right out the front door.... more

It was a horrible hotel and really creepy...elavator doesnt work in the morning. Cheap hotel means cheap service... not even worth the money paid for a budget hotel... Don't go here unless you are desparate. more

Taylor Hotel was just as many have described. I walked in the smallish lobby at midnight and was underwhelmed. However, the next day I realized that it is very close to everything I needed. It was clean and had some remodeling in the bathroom. It was exactly what I would expect out of a hotel this price in Downtown SF.... more
