I love the location. The room is in ok size for 2 depending on which room you get however this place seem to have long term stay people which they can be quite creepy and make you feel uncomfortable. The Hotel has been in the process of upgading... yet the people who are doing the work, not necessarily the management, seem to want to take control. They see nothing wrong with entering a guest's room and tampering with their personal items. An old hotel with a truly antique elevator! Some rooms share baths down the hall, but we had our own which was recently remodeled. Spent very little time there. Don't think they had a/c. This hotel is in a great location. It is within walking distance to Union Square and there is a bus stop right in front. I did not feel unsafe here at all. If you are looking for fancy, top of the line accomadations this is not the place for you. The room was basic and small, but clean and comfortable.... More
