We just got back from our trip and miss the comfort of the Fairmont Heritage Place @ Ghirardelli Square. This is the most high-tech hotel room I've ever seen! Everything is new. I don't know what more I could add to the already rave reviews about the Fairmont Heritage! The location is great within easy access to transportation (MUNI bus, cable car, and streetcars), the staff and service is exceptional, the apartments are FABULOUS and comfortable...I would most definitely stay here again! We stayed at the FAirmont for threenight at the begining of our West Coast holday. The hotel is situated in a fabulous (if a little noisy) position and has been developed from the Ghiradelli chocolate factory. We booked this two bedroom suite because we have three children and need the room. Most places can't even garantee connecting rooms.
