I booked the Hotel Molokai as it seemed liked the only hotel on the island and I wasn't sure how it would be but I was very pleasantly surprised. The Hotel has a very relaxing, old Hawaii feel. The rooms were older but very comfortable, in the old Hawaii style with high beam ceilings, jalousie windows and a nice deck... More

Wonderful staff and management at the hotel. Every night there is local music at the poolside bar. Musicians play from local Hawaiian music, country and western, blues and a bit of rock and roll. They only play from 6-8pm, 9 pm at the latest so it doesn't bother those who want to sleep. Each night is different band. Molokai is... More

Have had five nights here, wonderful staff, Hula Shores restaurant has exceptional food and wonderful service. Love the island, everyone is friendly. The whales put on an incredible show, as did the porpoise and turtles. Need a car though, the hotel is too far out of town to walk. Came here for the "Hawaiian" experience, and found it. Three star... More

From the moment we arrived at Hotel Molokai we were treated like family (ohana). Mind you, we arrive at about 9pm exhausted and very hungry. The cafe had stopped serving food but they saw how hungry we were and just happened to have a pot of soup and home made bread still warm for us. The activity at the hotel... More

I recently had the chance to hop over to Molokai for a couple of days. What a great experience. The grounds are beautiful and the staff is fantastic. It is right on the water which makes it nice. Not a swimming beach but great for Kayaking or Paddleboarding. While you are there I highly recommend taking the Alii Tour with... More

From the moment you enter this property you are struck that the style of the Hotel is a throw back to a simpler time. The small polynesian style chalets are aesthetic and very functional. The property is neat and well kept. The restaurant is quite nice and reasonably priced. The sports bar area is conducive to socializing. The live music... More

We read a number of reviews before we got to Moloka'i. So we knew not to expect the Ritz Carlton. But we ended up being so much more impressed with the place than we imagined. For starters, we stayed in one of the four (?) oceanfront rooms. I cannot speak for the others, but this room has clearly been around... More

The Hotel Molokai is right out of the 1950's "tiki torch" era. Tiki-type huts abound and the restaurant has an astounding view of the Pacific, complete with unobstructed view of Lanai and Maui. The rooms are clean and adequate. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. It was fun to stay on a relatively untouched island in a hotel... More

The hotel had nice food and they had a local band singing by the pool. The entertainment made for a great evening with the pool, beach and sunset. More

Hotel Molokai is a great hotel. First of all, if you have the pleasure of arriving on a Friday like I did, you'll get a quick introduction to the locals and the fun entertainment found hanging around the bar nightly. I have nothing but good things to say - I loved everything including the walls and sink in my room.... More
