I choosed that hostel after reading many positive fedbacks. It was true. Safe, secure, clean everyday, quite hours at night, full kitchen, free pancakes for breakfast, well organized. I wasnt worry about my stuff. Very helpfull advices from stuff about island trips and activities. That hostel isnt located on the beach, it's in centre of wailuku, but bus stop is... More

We loved our room. It was very clean, with nice ventilation from the 2 windows and ceiling fan. The beds were comfortable. The location had easy access to a variety of restaurants, shops and the public bus. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. More

Room 17 was great. With windows on 2 sides it got great ventilation and I got to hear roosters crowing in the morning. A friendly group of people stay here. I will keep coming back. And the bakery 2 doors down is wonderful! More

This is one of the best hostels I've stayed at. Everywhere I went after this (to the Big Island of Hawaii and to Honolulu), and on the bus talking to people, I've told them about this hostel. It is the best run, nice friendly guys and guests, older people there too like me, clean, nice, good price. I cannot say... More

The staff were incredibly helpful. Garrett, the manager, picked me up from Kahului airport and on the drive to the hostel immediately showed me where to go for food and fun. I stayed in an all-female dormitory room, which was very clean and comfortable. Gives you a good chance to meet fellow travelers. There are four bathrooms which are cleaned... More

In my travels I have been to hostels everywhere around the world, and I can easily say that in hostels' domain (I am specifically saying this because I have seen a lot of people harshly criticizing hostels like they are staying in a hotel!) Northshore was pretty good. It was all in all clean, there were 4 shared bathrooms/showers and... More

The whole staff at Nortshore Hostel is awesome! The place is clean, it's situated right in the middle of everything there is to do on Maui and it's cheap compared to other hostels or hotels! I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a calm place to stay. More
