We stayed here for a week the beginning of November and it was first class all the way. The grounds were immaculate, right on the beach and beach walk. The front desk and Shirley the concierge were wonderful. The Castaway bar and restaraunt were great too. I would come here again. We stayed in room 405 in the aloha tower... More

We had a villa on the ground floor that backed on to the back pool and it was heaven waking up every morning and eating breakfast on the terrace. The villa was clean and homey with a full service kitchen. Most nights we cooked our own meals and when we wanted to go out for supper we could just walk... More

We really enjoy it : the room is clean with a beautiful view on the sea, even if it is only a standard room (hotel room named) We have a balcony where we can take a drink. Some room have a kitchen. There is a nice garden inside the complex with a nice swimming pool and a small restaurant, not... More

This review relates to a stay in April so sorry for the delay but such a nice place felt I needed to add a review - we booked a 1 bdm suite overlooking the pool (on the 4th floor) which suited us as we travelled with 2 kids 10yr and 8 mth old - this unit was a well cared... More

My wife and I stayed here for two weeks while on our honeymoon, and we loved every minute of it. We wanted a larger condo-style room with a kitchen, not a standard hotel with nowhere to cook. Our room in the Banyan building was perfect for what we needed. It was a large (1100 square feet) two-story condo with a... More

Best of both worlds - hotel and condo combo. You get all the perks of a hotel such as maid service plus the stove/fridge etc that go with a condo. Our condo had granite countertops, massive tub, huge living area and two king size beds. Would absolutely stay again. Great place for kids. Two pools - nothing fancy about them,... More

Aloha! We were the family who stayed at MKV for our 20th anniversary with our 9 year old son, in June. We had a fabulous time - again! We decided to go back before Christmas this year also. Our stay there was wonderful. Our son met many kids at the pool and made many friends. The key to staying here... More

Units in B, C, and D are great. Location is away from the Kaahanapali craziness but still only a short walk away from the shops at Whalers Village. The restaurant is great. More

We started with a regular hotel room, which was in pretty shabby condition: one of the worst mattresses I've ever slept on, corroded window frames, extremely noise AC, carpet that came out of a 70's sitcom, lots of noise from equipment outside the room (oddly, the bathroom had clearly been remodeled sometime this century and was in very good condition).... Aloha and thanks for choosing our resort. I am sorry to hear that the first room you received was not up to standards. Thank you for letting us know, we appreciate the feedback, it helps us improve. I am glad to hear that the second room you received was more to your liking and that our staff was responsive. I... More

This hotel is only OK. The rooms are outdated. The bathrooms are a little smelly, dingy and stained, although they were kept clean. We had a nice enough time, but two things ruined it. We walked to the hotel next door and it was stunningly beautiful...which left us feeling a little bummed. But we got over that. The last night... More

Aloha- Thank you for staying at our property and thanks for the feedback. I am sorry to hear that an insect ruined your stay here. I think you have every right to have a bug free stay. I am glad to hear our staff was responsive. Many visitors are surprised at the amount of insects we have in the tropics... More
