My wife and I booked Hyatt Regency in Maui for our first leg of our honeymoon (we spend 8 days at this location and 6 days at the Grand Hyatt in Kauai). The location of the hotel is above and beyond - the entire hotel grounds are pristine and carefully manicured. My wife and I arrived late (around 9pm) but... More

Every place you turn it's beautiful. The rooms are amazing. The pools are unique and the beach right there is perfect. The Moana Spa has a huge menu of services along with saunas. I had a fantastic shiatsu massage. The quiet room has a fabulous view. Meals are pretty good but pricey. The on site luau is decent, too. The... More

My husband spent 8 nights at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort in May and had a fabulous time! The location and service were absolutely wonderful. The Hyatt is the most beautiful property on Kaanapali Beach. We are seasoned travelers who have had the opportunity to stay at several 5 star resorts and I would say this ranks very high (even... I recently spent 5 nights at the Hyatt with my husband. We actually came on a travel zoo discount deal and were very happy. The lobby was really pretty—actually one of the prettiest along the strip of resorts that are right next to each other. We had an ocean view room that was really nice. The room was very clean... My husband and I finished up the last 4 days of our 9 day honeymoon at the Hyatt Maui. Upon arrival, we were greeted with the car parking staff who immediately assisted us with our car and luggage & had it stored while we checked in. The reception staff were super nice & welcomed us in a way that we... More

I have stayed at this property a few times, and it was always good but not great. This stay was GREAT. The staff was wonderful, the remodel was very attractive, and even the painting and other maintenance they were doing was very unobtrusive. One of the management there even took the time to email me a couple of weeks before... More

We just spent 5 nights here and Really enjoyed. The hotel landscape is just amazing. The Asian style garden is great with nice waterfalls, bridges and flamingo and swans. The view of ocean is awesome! Love the sunset view. We stayed in partial ocean view and that exactly lives to my expectation of half the ocean, half the mountain view.... More

My husband and I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Resort and Spa in Maui for 7 nights in May 2012. This was our 5th stay at this hotel. We chose this hotel for several reasons. 1. We stayed here before and loved it. 2. They are very well located as we enjoy the Kaanapali area and the proximity to Lahaina,... More

Second part of our Hawaii trip was Maui. This is the first time we stayed at any Hyatt Regency hotels. Upon arrival the check in staff were extremely friendly and warm. Our room as excellent. I can't fault the room, loved the fact that we had a sofa in the room and didn't have to sit on the bed. Facilities... More

This is one in a series of seven reviews for seven hotels and resorts I stayed at during a recent trip to Hawaii (Maui and Oahu) in the month of May 2012. This is part of a continuing series of my impressions and experiences staying at various hotels and resorts while traveling to attend concerts worldwide. This review is for... More
