Our previous trip to Hawaii was spent in a very nice hotel, this time we decided to try something different and what a terrific time we had at Ocean Breeze Hideaway. Bob and Sande are the perfect hosts making us feel like very special friends that chose to keep them company for a week. The room was absolutely spotless, the... More

We returned from Maui this morning, refreshed and relaxed. The Coral Room at Ocean Breeze Hideaway was our perfect home away from home. We originally chose it because we eschew high priced hotels, preferring to spend the bulk of our vacation dollars on food and adventure. But our choice was perfect! We arrived at night and were greeted by twinkling... More

We spent nine nights at Ocean Breeze and found it the perfect respite: near to everything but tucked away in a quiet residential zone, nicely outfitted with the necessities (coffee pot, fridge, good bed) and much more (beach chairs and boogie board, cooler, even coats for those going to Haleakela's more frigid heights.) It is very nice homey, not luxury,... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Ocean Breeze for 4 nights in August 2011 and absolutely loved it. We stayed in the Coral room. LOCATION We thought it was well located within Kihei. Pretty close to both the beach and the road, and quiet. We also liked a lot Kihei as a base to explore western Maui. ROOM The... More

We had a great time in Maui because of the excellent accomadations and our hosts. Bob gave a very good Lomi Lomi Massage which was competitive with the Waikiki Marriott Spa. We had a great time in Maui thanks to the suggestions of Bob & Sande, the conversations over breakfast and mixing with other guests. We saw some local entertainment... More

We spent almost a week here, and were very kindly welcomed by Bob & Sande, the owners. They said they have been running the place for years, and yet they still enjoy sitting with their guests each morning at breakfast. They show real interest, and are a good source of information on places to go on the island. Such a... More

On our travels through Hawaii we spent the week on Maui in the Ocean Breeze Hideaway. This bed & breakfast is one of the neatest and nicest I've ever seen. The hosts Bob and Sandy put all their love in this house and you can feel and see it! It's tidy, the rooms are big, the Lanais are comfortable and... More

Somehow this B&B seems to polarize. Unfortunately we belong to the party that did not like there stay at this location too much. We really enjoyed the fresh and delightful fruits offered for breakfast. Especially the homegrown mango. Furthermore we liked the offer of beach equipment and that Sande and Bob have a nice attitude. But: We did not fully... More

Thank you for letting us know about the wi-fi,,as we recently purchased a new router and will remedy the situation. We try to make it clear that the Ocean Room is our budget room. However, all the furniture was purchased new, and most guests really like the room because of the beautiful garden setting. It actually is quiet here a... More

Ocean Breeze Hideaway was a home away from home for our 7 night stay and our first trip to Maui. Sande and Bob are wonderful hosts and beautiful, kind people. We slept great and were well nourished with our tropical breakfast to send us on our adventures of the day well rested and full of energy. And yes, we do... More
