It is located on a great area of Kauai. It is close to shopping and other attractions. The rooms are spacious and pretty. It is very colorful. It was everything it said it would be. The rooms were clean, coffee in room, across the road from the beach, people were nice. It was a good base,short ride to the airport. Pretty murals on all the doors. It was a nice place, the people were very nice and helpful. Nothing negative to say. more

This is a hotel that I am looking for. Good price for the island of Kauai. Rooms were clean, which is the main thing I am looking for. Hotel by Lihue airport (about 5-10 minute drive). Our stay at GII was splendid from start to finish, and also a great value. The 2cd and 3rd floor rooms all have entrances off a covered outdoor hallway on the back of the hotel with a gorgeous waterfall and garden surrounding it (white noise so you can't hear the neighbors). We stayed here for our first night on the island. It's close to the airport. Good location - close to the nice Kalapaki beach (at the Marriott) and dining.
