The staff here is super attentive and get to know you quickly, as being a relatively young traveler (22) I always find it a pain to have to carry around my idea when I'm hanging around in my hotel, however here the staff made an effort to get to know us and remember us. By day 3 we didn't need... More

This place falls between the resort and mid-level hotel categories. The proximity to the shore is excellent, but it's not a swimming beach. The ocean-facing views are great, however the balconies are really small, except for the "executive" oceanfront rooms, which are the ones parallel to the shore. This is what I stayed in. The room was huge. It may... More

Very nice hotel, clean rooms, nice breakfast, in-attentive wait staff in restaurant . Biggest beef was paying $14/ day to park on a largely empty mall style parking lot that didn't even have gated security. To me, since EVERYONE visiting Kauai rents a car, that's like finding out that there 's a bed charge..... Or a toilet charge. It's a... More

Marriott took a dump of a property and spend some money to fix it up. They did a nice job. The property which is part of their budget motel chain is nicely laid out and the rooms are a decent size with new furnishings. Pros: Ocean front, plently of beach chairs and decent pool size. Terrific staff attitude and comfortable... More

This beautiful hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. We stayed in one of the huge deluxe oceanfront rooms, and were able to enjoy an incredible Hawaiian sunrise every morning. The staff was gracious and helpful, and the breakfast was just perfect. One really cool feature is the fire fountain by the pool which is lit every night, where you... More

add $14.00 a day for parking here. unless you're a really savvy traveler and look for these hidden costs, you'll be thrown off guard when you check-in. kauai is a beautiful, laid back island so you don''t expect to be paying waikiki parking prices. it's such a let down. pay for the toothbrush you forgot, too. and $40.00 for a... We just got back from Kauai. Our agent set us up with Courtyard by Marriott. We like a moderate size hotel......this was just right. Upon entering one gets a Mai Tia, yum. Staff very friendly & helpful. We had a beautiful view on the 4th floor looking into the garden/pool area, of course you couldn't miss the ocean. Room spacious,... More

This hotel was fantastic, especially for a Courtyard. The rooms, the grounds, and the staff all exceeded our expectations. The grounds were over-the-top beautiful, especially at night, with a lighted pool, tiki torches, a fountain with fire, and couches and hammocks scattered around the lawn. They had a nice new business center, a fabulous lobby, and a decent beach. Our... More

The hotel staff was great. Kim at the front desk found out it was our 30th anniversary and upgraded our room from a garden view room to an ocean view room. That night Kim sent up a complentary bottle of champagne for us to enjoy. The hotel room was clean and the grounds were wonderful and the hotel is in... More
