The people are great and if you dont mind living in grose conditions its a great place. The main problem is the owner. He is a verbaly abusive alcholic. He has not problem throwing people out day or night with out provocation. more

This place seemed alright at first for a backpacker, but the next morning I regretted it. Had mosquito bites and lice! Of course this could happen at any hostel on Hawaii. So if you stay here or any hostel on the islands be sure to have some lice shampoo and mosquito repellent on hand. more
