This private home benefits most from a great central location to all the spots you could want to see in Kauai. A few minute drive from Kapaa, and about equidistant from Waimea and Hanalei, the B&B overlooks the Wailua River valley, but you cannot see either the river or Secret Falls from the house. Still, you are on the edge... More

This is the MOST MAGICAL PLACE ever. The property is next to the mountains and on Wailua state park. You can hear the waterfall but it is hard to see it due to the dense trees. The backyard as a lighted swimming pool. Next to it a lava wall. If you go behind the lava wall, you come a deck... More

I stayed here Dec 28th and Dec 29th and I agree with the other reviews here that this place has some great views of the Secret Waterfall. You can also walk off the back of the property down to the river and up to that very waterfall. Bring your swim suit and towel. From the property, you can also hike... More

We stayed at 3 b&b places on the island and this one was for sure our favorite. Too bad it was the last place we stayed or we would have stayed there the whole time. It had an amazing view, it was very clean, and breakfast was sooooo good. The owner of the place was very friendly, we both really... More

When my husband and I first arrived, we were disappointed. We were instructed to call the owner the day before and let him know we were coming. So, my husband called the day before to give him a heads up, even though we thought that was a little strange. When we arrived at the B & B, the owner was... More

I'm surprised by some of the reviews here! This place was amazing! The owner was absolutely lovely to us. We made the mistake of going to stay at another b'n'b in Hanalei and boy did we regret it. We also had such a lovely time with the other guests and the housekeeper that we came back to go partying with... More

I find the negative reviews astounding and glad I ignored them. This place was a real find. I have also stayed in many, many B and B's and really struggle to find a criticism of this place or the proprietor. It is not for rowdy party animals, and yes, if you are noisy (for whatever reason!) its not the place... More

My wife and I stayed in the Kings Room. A very large and very clean room with very nice furniture and a comfortable bed. The owner is very friendly and helpful with good recommendations about beaches, restaurants, or other activities. We used our credit card to reserve the room through a travel agency, but yes, he does not take credit... More

I have stayed in many B&Bs around the world and never disappointed – until this one. The owner does not take credit cards, payment in advance by check. That should have been the first red flag. Rooms are dark and dingy, furniture seems to have come from a second-hand shop. The waterfall mentioned in their website is not to be... More
