We spent four nights there and it was a wonderful experience. Ben is a very friendly host, who took time to chat with us every morning. Breakfast was excellent, different every day. The room was clean and very comfortable. The house is located up in the forest, feels like you’re in the middle of the jungle. You can easily visit... More

This is a wonderful B & B - very affordable, great hot breakfasts (with fabulous coffee and fruit), friendly hosts who are so informative about their island. Tucked up in the hills of the South Shore, the location is very convenient to all venues - Waimea Canyon, Poipu Beach, Port Allen, etc. We loved the foliage outside the windows. Having... More

I cannot say enough about this place. I stayed here with my boyfriend this summer after attending a wedding in Oahu. We were so happy to have found this spot. First, it is very private and not on the beaten path. We found it convenient for excursions to both sides of the island. The hosts were wonderful with recommendations, they... More

This B&B was such a treat! My friend and I stayed in the largest room that had a separate living area with a futon. It was way bigger than we expected, it had high ceilings and pretty treetop views. THE BREAKFAST IS A DREAM!!! Delicious coffee and the freshest fruit possible (literally picked off the vine). Super friendly hosts, tastefully... More

A great place to stay at a very reasonable price. A nice 1 bedroom type suite with a separate room with a couch / TV / etc. Very nice couple – Ben and Traci and the breakfast was quite good, varying and Hawaiian. Very clean / comfortable. Would definitely recommend – not right on a beach, but easy to access... More

My husband and I spent a couples nights on Kauai and at Strawberry Guava Bed and Breakfast on our honeymoon vacation. We spent most of our time sightseeing and were basically only at the B & B to eat and sleep. The bed was the most comfortable bed on my 2 week trip- it was like a cloud. The breakfasts... More

Will happily choose to visit and revisit Strawberry Guava just for the sake of a little get-away or an extended island visit. The lush mountainous backdrop, the comfortable accommodations, the generous, fresh and local breakfast. It's simple yet luxurious without being extravagant or over the top. Just what I want when I travel! Thank you Sullivans! More

We had stayed five nights on the north side of the island, and we loved it, but the two nights we stayed with Ben and Traci were in many ways the highlight of our trip to Kauai. It was so much fun to eat a luxurious breakfast while chatting with Ben and the other guests. They also had great advice... More

I recently stayed at Ben & Traci Sullivan's StrawberryGuava. Although only a short drive from Hwy 50, you are surrounded by a peaceful privacy only interrupted by the parrots and other birds. The valley in which SG is located envelopes you with a feel of the old Hawaii. There are many interesting elements to SG. From island woods milled and... More

We stayed there for just 1 night and I fell in love with the place. I was suspicious because the price was so low, but it is truly magical. The room was lovely and comfortable, and all we saw from the windows was lush greenery and the only sounds were of the forest. There are considerate touches, like beach towels,... More
