Well where do I begin. When you drive up to the lobby this hotel seems like it is going to be an incredible experience but how quickly things can change!!! This place is the most over the top obnoxious hotel I have ever started in. I am a huge fan of the Hilton and I have stayed at dozens around... More

If you have children, this hotel is for you. Or go when school is in session. The room was very nice, but getting to the monorail or walking was difficult from our tower. A bridge was needed across the canal. The gym was terrible. There were only 3 working treadmills - the others were broken, and ONE mat. It is... More

We spent 7 nights at this resort and enjoyed every minute. We paid attention to other reviews that suggested we pay the extra $5 for valet parking and we were glad we did. There are several places to eat on the resort grounds & the prices range from about $10 for a sandwich or nachos to $50 and up for... More

Hawaii as a Destination for Australians Summary 1. Yes you will have a good time, despite the negatives it's still pretty good fun. 2. Unless I was going there for an event, halfway point to meet friends from USA, or just a stop over, I just don't rate it as a destination, you can get as good or better closer... More

Reservation experience was horrible. Asked to stay in a specific tower, was told that 'yes, you will be staying in the tower you have requested' only to find that i wasn't. Called again to change, and no rooms were available anymore, so i asked for another tower, which again i was promised. Then at check-in i find out that i... More

Amazing village resort on Hawaii, the big Island of Hawaii, we were on the Island for 1 week, and spend 2 nights here. It is so beautiful, and you have to experience this wonderland, you arrive and get on a little boat that takes you to the area where your room is located, the area you pass is amazing. It... More

We have stayed at the Hilton Waikoloa 3 times and it it is a beautiful property. As is to be expected everthing has a price and is generally overpriced (beer is $7-$9, small burger with literally nothing else on the plate $13, Real burgers from $18-$32) for what you get, but you have to accept that when you go there,... Outstanding property, can see why it is rated so high. Pros: Exquisite gardens, views, dolphins, snorkel pools with fish and turtles, excellent facilities. Plants maintained so well they look artificial. Nice walkways, fish and birdlife everywhere. Nice boat taxis for leisurely transport to the different buildings, in stead of the 8km/h (5mph) tram service. If you don't have a rental... More

Excellent hotel boasting all the luxuries you could possibly want. My daughter loved riding the tram and the boat around the resort. Her favourite experience was swimming with the dolphins and playing with the parrots. Staff very well trained and make you feel welcome. A wonderful family vacation spot.

To begin, valet parking is $22 versus self parking $17. The valets are super fast, very courteous. In fact we learned from the valet supervisor since there are no designated handicapper parking spots the hotel offers FREE valet parking for disabled. Great service. To follow, check in is somewhat sluggish. Only twice as we passed the front desk area was... More
