This is a lovely property - very well manicured. The common areas are big enough so that the pool, restaurants and lagoon never seemed crowded even when many people were in them. Rooms are nice - not overly large, but clean, and have small balconies. Though we did not go into every tower, it didn't appear that any of the... More

I recently stayed at the Hilton Waikoloa Village hotel (Jan 29 - Feb 6, 2012) and there are some of the issues that need to be addressed in my opinion at the Hilton Waikoloa on the Big Island in Hawaii: Parking We stayed at the Ocean Towers, which is a very long way from the parking lot. It's at least... More

The property is expansive and provides an interesting sight to behold around every corner. The pools are terrific and watching the humpback whales about 1/2 mile off shore is amazing. Although there are over 1,000 rooms many times, especially in the evenings, you can feel like you are one of a few dozen people there - really. The only places... More

We stayed at this Hilton for 2 nights in January. It was bigger and better than we expected and we expected it to be brilliant! We booked througt the hotel's own website where there are a wide variety of room types. We chose a King Sea view with lanai (balcony) and breakfast. There was valet parking when we arrived. Made... Our family stayed here because we thought that our four year old boy would flip over the boat rides, the monorail and the dolphins. In actuality, he didn't really care about these things as much as playing in the lagoon. We arranged to stay in the Lagoon Tower but upon arrival, we were informed that we were to be staying... More

After reading several reviews about the enormity of this place (In fact I think a few people referred to it as a Disney World of sorts.) I was skeptical about booking here. I heard about a monorail taking you across the resort from one side to the other, etc . . . So I was pleasantly surprised at the intimate... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and wished that we had grandchildren with us because that is where this massive resort excels. One family could park themselves here and know that the kiddos of all ages would be entertained for a week and the parents could veg out by the various pools. Do not look at the food and activity... We stayed at the Hilton Waikola Village for 1 week. We had a partial ocean view room in the Ocean Tower. The view was nice overlooking the golf course but we were still able to see the ocean, and the room was lovely, well appointed. Even though it did show a little bit of wear, it was very clean and...
