We had a two bedroom suite on the second floor that was very large and spacious. They supplied most of the needed kitchen utensils, dishes, pots and pans and even dishwasher soap. Yes, you do need to buy the coffee and all the other food items you will need for the time there. Yes, the rooms do need to be... more

We spent five days at The Bay Club (TBC)at the end of August 2009 after spending three days at Kings Land (please see Kings Land review). We were very impressed with the size of the living area and the lanai (patio). Unfortunately, we were very dissappointed with the lack of maintenance to the rooms and bathroom (towel racks barely hanging... more

We own and stay at the Bay Club. This is a 10 year long event. The Villas are superb and put the closely located Hilton timeshares to shame. They are open and breezy. You don't get the feeling you have amillion people around you. The new super-market and the Queens Market Place is the cherry on the top. Their selection... more

This was our fifth visit to the Bay Club at Waikoloa a HGVC resort. This property was built in 1993 as a Condominium Resort. The developer was a Japanese corporation, the Nikken Company. During the Japanese recession, development of the Condominium project slowed, and Nikken decided to turn the Bay Club into a Timeshare resort. Hilton Grand Vacations Club took... more

kitchen is well equipped with all you need. rooms were spacious and clean. staff was nice. we were married at the marriot. hotel staff found out about our marriage and delivered a card and bottle of champagne for our room. only complaint is the stray cats freely roaming around when we barbequed outside. they also have weekly family activities at... more

We have owned a timeshare here for more than 14 years. We always use our points here, and rent more so we can stay longer. Rooms are a little old (part of our bedroom roof more or less collapsed due to a very strong rainstorm and design flaw - flat roofs don't work well in Hawaii and a very small... more

My husband and I returned this year to Wiakoloa with his sister and brother-in-law. Last year we stayed at the Hilton resort hotels across the street from the Bay Club. This year we rented a condo as part of our Hilton Club membership. We stayed in room #135, on the third floor per our request as we had read on... more

This is our fourth visit to the Big Island, three of which we have spent in the Bay Club. Although we are owners at Kings Land (neighboring property owned by HGVC) we prefer to stay at the Bay Club, because of its spacious units and the points bargain (it costs about a third less HGVC points to stay in the... more

First off I can't really say if the Bay Club Resort is a good experience/value for the money as we were fortunate to be gifted the one week stay so I don't know if another timeshare location of comparable point value would be a better stay. I must say that the previous 5/19/09 reviewer gave a very detailed description of... more
