We recently spent a night at the Lokahi Lodge and were extremely pleased. Loved the intimacy, yet private rooms. We decided to forgo eating out and cooked some steaks there, had some wine, and enjoyed the setting. I think the other rooms were full, but we had friendly, but little, contact with people. Easy location for visiting the volcano, only... More

Our family stayed in the Naupaka Room and had a lovely stay. The loft area was very convenient for our family of five with small children. The room and lodge were clean and very welcoming. The location was unbelievable as it is only a short drive to the National Park and other conveniences such as gas and food. I would... More

We wanted to stay near the volcano national park so that we wouldn't have to drive back to Kona that night. As the town name, Volcano, implies, this place is just a couple miles from the park. The property itself was beautiful with all the trees and flowers of the rain forest. We enjoyed the scenery while we used the... More

There is a firm mattress, an extra firm mattress, the floor, and then the bed in the Olena Room. OMG!! We had to sit in the hot tub for 1/2 hour just to try to relieve the terrible, back, hip and shoulder pain my husband and I got from TRYING to sleep here. However, the room and bathroom were clean,... More

I flew my brother to Hawaii for a graduation present and I chose to stay at the Lokahi Lodge in Volcano Village. I had previously stayed in Chalet Kailua properties because of the excellent value and customer service. They have yet to let me down. We had one of the corner rooms in the lodge. The room was very clean,... More

In February of 2011 I rented a room at the Lokahi Lodge for the night I proposed to my girlfriend. The staff was extremely helpful, enthusiastic and courteous without being at all intrusive. The rooms themselves were cozy without being claustrophobic, and the overall location was perfect, being close to restaurants, a winery, and the Volcano national park. Overall it... More

If you are planning a multi-day trip to the Volcano National Park this place is fantastic. Tucked into the woods on a quiet country road, it is 2 miles or less from Volcano Village & the Park. The rooms are comfy & quaint offering everything you need from wireless internet to a hot tub. There is a kitchen you can... More

You get a nice toom plus a kitchen, living room and very helpful personnel. We really enjoyed our stay at the facility. The common areas were well taken care of and we would certainly use the facility again if we went to the national park again More

The rooms are as described on the website, clean and spacious. We made dinner at the huge and well stocked kitchen, so convenient and easy. It is right outside the volcano park and it is easy to zip in and out to take part in the park's actvities. Highly recommended. More

We were staying for one night to see the volcanoes. The location was 5 minutes from the park and hiking. The grounds and common areas were clean and spacious. Our only complaint was the shower head - it started out very hot and and ended in a cold mist by our feet. We would definitely stay again and would highly... More
