The Kilauea Lodge has rooms at the main lodge and then separate rentals of houses near the lodge. We rented the Ola'a Plantation House and were really pleased with our choice. The living room was enormous with a nice gas fireplace. The house is either renovated (like the bathroom) or nicely maintained with historic charm. When booking I could not... More

We really liked this property. It was a great location for touring the Volcanoe National Park. We stayed in a one bedroom cottage with two adults and two kids, ages 9 and 13. We were very impressed at the start of our stay - the food was good, the decor was simple and clean in the cottage - comfortable beds.... More

We are a family of 3 with a 10 yr old girl. We Arrived late on the day a Sunday night after a total travelling time of 16 hours involving 2 flights and a 1 hr drive from Hilo to Volcano. When we arrived I introduced myself and told them about the long trip and was made to wait for... More

My husband and i stayed here 2 nights for our honeymoon while visiting the Volcano National Park. We had a great time! The rooms are beautiful and rustic-looking. The entire place is very "homey" and if you need anything, the staff is there to help. When you stay here, complimentary breakfast is also included each day, and it is delicious.... More

We called in to the Lodge on the advice of friends who live on the island on our way to see the volcano at night. The lodge is beautiful and the staff were great (particularly Kim). Food however was OK but very expensive for what it was. There was a lot of it but ordinary and the key lime pie... More

We wanted to stay one night so that we can see the volcano at night, and Tutu's Place fitted the bill for our party of 5. Tutu's is located only a few minutes from the main lodge. The house was airy and clean and was lovingly restored. We pulled into a driveway lined with a row of beautiful hydrangeas and... More

We recently stayed at Kilauea Lodge and were pleasently surprised by it. The rooms are clean, comfortable, nicely appointed and spacious. The bathrooms are a decent size and clean; they also have a nice towel warmer rack. We stayed in room 9 which was specially nice because it had it's own private entrance, was surrounded by windows overlooking the lovely... More

We stayed two nights in the Cottage at the Kilauea Lodge in Volcano, a short five minutes away from HVNP. The Cottage was a beautifully maintained two room cabin with a bedroom, small living room w/ gas stove and bathroom. The rooms were very clean and made a perfect home base for our exploration of the national park. The room... More

This time we stayed in the Hideaway room which was large, secluded and quiet. It is so nice to be close to the park. When the weather is good you can zap up at night and see the glow coming from the volcano. The Hideway was clean and the housekeeper terrific. That said, it could be better. It is next... More

Our family of four stayed in the Ola'a Plantation House for two nights while visiting Hawaii Volcano National Park. The Plantation House is located on Hale Ohia Road, and is a short drive from both the Lodge and HVNP. It has been very nicely restored and furnished, and is a very roomy and comfortable place to stay while visiting HVNP.... More
