We stayed one night, before spending the next day at VNP. Most convenient for those visiting the national park; much better than driving up from Hilo. Very comfortable, despite the rain we encountered. Nothing fancy, but a cozy and pleasant room with everything you might need to be comfortable, including a small space heater for warmth. Really liked this spot...close to Volcano National Park. Nice cozy room with a great veranda with bbq. Owner, Shannon was quite friendly and offered us great breakfast which helped justify the rate. The Lava tube was enjoyed by the crew we travelled with...worth doing their free tour. More
