We stayed 2 nights in the Olapa guest house. Very clean, comfortable bed, and a very nice spread of fresh fruit, cereals, and breads for breakfast. Towels were a bit rough, but that's just me being picky. We were able to cook a couple of meals and relax after long days hiking in the park.

This is a strange property - several cottages spread around what is essentially a large jungle garden. We stayed several nights in 'Olapa. The bedrooms and main living area was spacious. The breakfast lanai featured fresh fruits (papaya, bananas, pineapple), baked goods, cereal and beverages. We especially appreciated their commitment toward sustainability. They are only 10-15 minutes from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, too.
