My good friend, Carol, and family (total 5), just returned from their recent visit and asked me to write a review to express what a lovely time they had, and how very pleased they were that they picked this place to stay! It was in a country setting, the room was spacious, even with their large group, there was room... More

We stayed here for two nights in april in the heritage room This was a perfect place for us to discover the national park Robert welcomed us by saying we could use the kitchen and living room and cable tv The breakfast with papaya with banana was a first for us but not last ,there was everything from sausages to... We got caught up exploring the island and arrived late, they left a key for us and explained what to do. The room was nice and spacious as well as clean. Breakfast was great!!! I really enjoyed the fresh papaya each morning and the mac nut pancakes with real maple syrup. Yard was nicely kept with an auomatic gate to... More

My friend Nancy B and I stayed here for 2 nights while we toured around Volcano National Park. It's a great location -- easy to get to the park, easy to get into town. Our room was spacious enough for the two of us (we had the Alpine Room). The owners had thought about a lot of things people might... More

This lovely, old, pet-friendly home was perfect for our visit from the other end of the island. In addition to the delicious breakfasts, there is complimentary tea and coffee. The host is generous and accommodating with any requests, furnishing earplugs for guests who are bothered by roosters and keeping his friendly dogs tied while my elderly dog was outside.

Very convenient location for Volcano. Very good breakfast, family style at big nicely-set table. Interesting guests. Better coffee would be nice. Old plantation style house, charming but could use a little updating in the small things - bed linens, kitchen equipment, flashlights. Mattress mediocre. Unpretentious but just slightly neglected. Owner is friendly enough but not intrusive. Very good eating choices... More

Well located close to the volcano. The room was ok. We stayed all 5 of us in one room. I can't remember if it was cold, the light in the morning, or noisy because of a rooster, I just remember I couldn't sleep well. The rest of the family did fine. It was ok for one night, but I was... More

Good value for the money! Nice rooms, modest and clean. Close to Volcano park. Robert was very friendly - breakfast was good. Felt right at home! No complaints! :-)

The only good thing about this place is the breakfast. As other travellers had indicated, this place needs a good cleaning, and not just in the kitchen. Our room had bedding and linen so old, even Goodwill would have turned them down. I had to launder all my clothing and even pajamas after my night there. I had trouble sleeping... More

We stayed for 2 nights at this charming b & b with our 4 year old son in the Pele suite. I liked that we were on the other side of the house so if my son was making a lot of noise it didn't bother the other people as much. The breakfast was amazing . Fresh papaya, banana, Mac... More
