Our stay at the Castle In Hawaii was one of the best vacations we have ever had. Felt like a king in my castle. Sorry Sheri had to be out of town, but John was a wonderful host. Great view, Great swimming spots of all types near by. Lots to do. Will come back more than likely.

A nice place to stay if you aren't looking for an active night life. A great location if you want to experience all the natural wonders of Puna, hot ponds, natural steam rooms, snorkling, hiking, biking, active lava flows, cool beaches, swimming with dolphins, whale watching, farmer's markets. Enjoyed my stay very well and would stay again. The owners were very friendly and eager to please. The rooms were nice and clean with an excellent view of the ocean and we could even see whales from the balcony. The hotel is very peacefull and secluded.

Loved the Castle - even the rooms have the medieval look (yet wonderfully comfortable!) This is a unique place to have a vacation - John and Sheri are kind and considerate hosts, helped me to find all the best places to visit on the island and providing all the personal service one could want.
