Ken and Erin are magnificent hosts and make a mean breakfast! My husband and I had a very relaxing wonderful stay at the Luana Inn. The room was very comfortable. The grounds are lovely with a great jacuzzi and beautiful pool (not heated). Erin provides a extraordinary book full of activities and places to visit during your stay. Very easy... More

We stayed several times at this wonderful Inn. The owners Ken and Erin are always took wonderful care of us. They served every morning a delicious breakfasts with breathtaking views to the ocean. Everything they serve is made fresh from scratch, very tasty, and healthy, I liked especially the banana bread;-). The rooms are spacious, tasteful furnished, and clean. The... More

Ken and Erin represent the very best of B/B hosts... they know their island; they share the cooking bring fresh ingredients to the table each morning; they keep a clean and tidy property. We rented the Moana room which is off the common room (great room). Moana is a bit more private than the 2 other rooms in the main... More

We have just returned from our second stay at Luana Inn with Ken and Erin. It is our favorite place to stay in Hawaii! Hospitality comes from the heart and Ken and Erin share their heart with all their guests. We have loved the breakfast conversations that just unfold with other guests at the Luana. The best breakfasts are served... More

We had the good fortune to stay at the Luana Inn during the first part of December 2011. It was the end of our 9 day circumnavigation of the Big Island. What a welcome respite! We had a fabulous time everywhere we went on the Island, but Erin and Ken here at the Luana made us feel so special and... More

We have just returned from our 4th visit to Luana over the last 2 years and are already looking forward to our next stay. This is a premier Bed and Breakfast facility and truly sets the standard for hospitality, location and value. Ken and Erin (and yes the children too) are extremely welcoming and really do go out of their... More

We stayed three nights here around Christmas 2011. Erin and Ken were wonderful hosts, very helpful and friendly, and were very knowledgeable of the islands. The main house is beautifully set just above Kealakekua Bay and is gorgeously landscaped. We stayed at the little guest cottage out back (which houses two separate large rooms). The room had a kitchenette and... More

We stayed at Luana Inn for 5 nights in November of 2011. THe hosts, Ken and Erin, are very accomodating, knowledgeable and make outstanding breakfasts. Since they are in Kona coffee country you would expect great coffee and they deliver. Best coffee I have ever had at a hotel or restaurant. Views are spectacular and the rooms are very comfortable.... More
