Not the worst we have stayed in (the Horse Shoe Bend in Lovell, WY takes the cake for that one) but quite bad to say the least. Nasty industrial carpet along with those disgusting polyester bed spreads (do motel/hotel operators SERIOUSLY think those are attractive or sanitary?) and those strange, light blue - fuzzy "felt" worthless blankets that adorn every... Thank you so much for taking the time to review our motel and restaurant. We sincerely apologize for what was obviously a horribly disappointing stay with us. We take every comment to heart and will strive to use these comments to improve the quality of the services we provide. If your travels ever bring you to our town again, we... More

For my birthday my family and I went to the Lamplighter restaurant in Powell. I have to say i am quite displeased. The food is overpriced, overcooked, and in every sense of the word, bland. My mother paid $22 for an 8-9oz. hunk of overcooked salmon, and I was forced to pay $70 for a rubbery piece of lobster tail.... More

While I cannot speak for their hotel services, We had a horrific experience with their food. We were visiting for my little brother's birthday. All seafood we purchased, which included their Salmon and their Lobster, was dry and unpleasant to eat. The lobster had a terrible rubbery texture and a very rotten taste. The waitress gave us little service and... More

Stayed here for a board meeting and we were made to feel very welcome. Older facility but spotlessly clean. Owner is fun and interesting to talk with. We had eaten in Cody so ran into the Inn's liquor store (very well stocked with great beer and wine selections) and then sat out on the upstairs patio and enjoyed one last... More

This place is a hoot - it's attatched to a restaurant and a liquor store. So, you do not have to drive to have a great time. We sat outside on lawn chairs provided and had a really good time. Their restaurant was very very nice - maybe a little too fancy for bikers so we walked to a little... More

Arrived here late (after 9:30) on Sunday August 12th after a long day of flying and driving from Billings MT. The owner (Rick) was at the desk and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The room itself was plenty big and exceptionally clean. In particular, the bathroom was immaculate. Beds were very comfortable including nice linens.... More

Excellent bedding, off the main drag, quiet. Restaurant attached with 4-star meals at 5-star prices.

The carpet was so dirty you had to wear socks or spread towels on the floor. Awful smell in the rooms. $80 was way too much for room. Dining options within walking distance very limited. Their restaurant very limited and overpriced. Go to the other end of town to the Super 8 with the Pizza Hut next door.

The Lamplighter Inn in Powell, Wyoming is a small (about 20 room) motel with a restaurant and lounge attached. The rooms are simple but well appointed with a refrigerator, small table and chairs, large TV and newly redecorated baths. Rick, the owner, greets you at the front desk and makes you feel like you are a guest in his oversized... More
