I have another unrelated trip review that made me think of this. I was staying here in Little America, WY, back in Jan 2008 on a business trip. There are a number of smaller rooms near the office and as far away as you can get from the office is a separate building near the pool. At this building are... more

This place is just off the I80 in what appears to be the middle of nowhere. It is near James Town & Green River. We arrived just as the first snows of the season were settling after a long drive. However, to our surprise this oasis offered all that was required from a hotel, congratulations to the company on that... more

We were driving westward this summer and stayed the night here. I think we were in a Deluxe room and we had our 3 and 1 yr old with us. I don't know if we had anyone in the adjacent rooms because we never heard anything and nobody banged on the wall when my toddler cried so I don't know... more

On the way from Cheyenne to Jackson we'd seen signs for this joint for hundreds of miles and thought it would be funny to stay here the night on the way back down to Colorado. The room (for was it was) was pretty pricey - 75 bucks including tax (with AAA discount), but it was comfortable enough and we didn't... more

Great for fans of paper thin walls, furnishings circa 1974, and a cultish undertone. more

I have stayed at this particular Little America many times on business. For my money, it is the best hotel in the area. You can stay at similarly priced hotels in Rock Springs or Green River, but these hotels won't have the same amenities as the Little America does. You also won't sleep nearly as well. Also, Little America usually... more

We stayed here on our way back from Mt. Rushmore to Utah. We stayed here because we really like the Little America and the Grand America in SLC. The breakfast was expensive and the gasoline was too. The pool was cold and there was no hot tub. I would have rather stayed in one of the town nearby at a... more

For the price for the room ($109 for 2 dbls) as well as the restaurant prices, I expected far better service! They obviously are using their remote location as a reason to charge way to much for substandard meals, neutral rooms and crappy service. The service in the restaurant was awful! I waited with my three young kids for some... more

I'm sorry for this experience. We appreciate knowing about this so that we can prevent it from happening to someone else. We have since brought a chef to this property, and are striving to consistently provide great service. We certainly missed the mark in this instance, and have used it as a learning opportunity. Thank you for letting us know.

Nice room, very clean. This is a truck stop in the middle of nowhere. It rates high considering the location and choices. They've created an oasis of green in the middle of Wyoming badlands. It is conveniently located and well marked for the traveler. It is a complex of sorts with coffee shop, fine dining, convenience store, gift shop, gas... more

We had stayed at this hotel in the past; but were very disappointed on our last stay. We were in a deluxe room which was large with a small sitting area The room and bath were clean, but were not spotless. The hall carpeting was very worn and quite dirty. There were only two bath towels for a King room... more
