We stayed at Deer Forks Ranch for only one night and very much appreciated the owner's flexibility (usually you should stay for at least 2 nights). We had a lovely wooden cottage overlooking the property, and there were horses, sheep, goats, llamas, cats and dogs roaming the extensive grounds. I've been to Deer Forks Ranch 3 or 4 times on hunting trips and our group is already planning our next trip to go out again. The bunk houses are great , the food is terrific , and the hosts Ben , Pauline , Ron and Pam ..........well.....they are simply unmatched ! They make you feel right at home from... More

My son and I went there on a prairie dog hunt. We had a great time and we would love to go back. The cabin we stayed in was neat and clean and it had everything that we needed. It is about 35 miles to the grocery store so bring your food with you to save a trip. More
