We stayed at the Pahaska Teepee for our trip to Yellowstone in 2009 not in December 2010 as the drop down says.. It is very conveniently located about 1 mile east of the east entrance of Yellowstone. There were 5 of us staying here. 2 Adults and 3 kids (ages 8, 10 and 12). Pahaska is a place to stay... More

Very nice cabin room at forest edge of property. Bear scat on entry step kept us alert whenever we left the room. No TV or radio which was OK but inadequate lighting for reading. The place has a lot of history in that the original structures were owned and built by Wm. Cody. Lots to see at gift shop in... More

We stayed here just before the east entrance to Yellowstone closed, so Pahaska teepee was nice and quiet. We had one of the double queen rooms over looking the river (It doesnt' really overlook a river, just so you know, but it does have a view of the valley where the river is and a mountainside), and it was small... Our little cabin in the woods and on top the hill, ended up being a duplex style cabin, which was just as cute as could be. The floors are bare wood, except in the bathroom where they are linoleum. The bathroom appeared to have been remodeled recently and was nice, very plain and straightforward - But VERY CLEAN. We had... More

We had mice problem on the day of our stay. When we complained to the staff, we were told that they would give us 10% credit for the inconvenience. However, they had charged 10% more in the end. If you want to stay in a peaceful place - do not go there. More

Nice place. We stayed in the small (econo) size room the 1st night and the 1 Queen the next 2 nights. The econo room is just that, but that's what we expected. Be prepared for NO TV, NO INTERNET. They advertised that on their website, so that was fine. Everyone we talked to were very nice. We ate at the... More

Pahaska Teepee suffers from a lack of nearby competition. This is a beautiful setting, but the original hunting lodge is not open to the public. Cabins are poor and small, especially for the $$. Maid service was excellent. The restaurant has a very limited menu, and is very expensive and portions are small. Some staff members are excellent, while others... More

I read previous reviews and was a little apprehensive about staying there. My husband, myself, friend and our 2 dogs stayed 5 nights. The cabins are basic, no frills, but very clean. There are no TV's, but who cares! You are in Yellowstone and surrounded by gorgeous mountains. Pahaska is located approximately 2 miles from the east entrance to Yellowstone... More

Located east of Yellowstone park, in a great natural setting, this property offers tiny rooms in old wooden houses, for outrageous prices. On the other hand, you probably won't find anything better or cheaper in the next 60-90 miles! You can spot bears or deers just by watching out on your window! More

Loved the location, it was pricey, but so is everything else in the area. Walls were very thin, heard everything going on next door. Cabins were clean and they had something I find elusive while traveling; hot water and good water pressure. Bed was comfortable. Food in the restaurant was good, enjoyed the bar. Staff friendly.
