The oak tree inn is not 4 star but the rooms are excellent would appear to be recently renolvated. Service and amenities are very good as well. Penny diner provides great breakfast, this is attached to hotel. Very pleased with our stay. Had a great night sleep, windows are double glazed. More

I like this place a lot. Nothing really stands out but the people, who are very friendly and make sure you are taken care of. Convenient location, walking distance to lots of stores and restaurants. Stayed in two different rooms on consecutive nights. Had my cat with me, manager never questioned it, and zero signs of other pets having been... More

I was on a speed run cross country to make 1000+ mile days on the infamous I-80. There were a couple negative reviews but figured I would chance it anyway. After the end of a very long day I was dragged to the Oak Tree Inn by the mistress GPS. GPS did not help me find the lobby. After walking... More

We stayed June 2011. Reason we picked it was that it was not in downtown area backing onto railway lines. Also, just across road from Mall with dining places in abundance. Room was comfortable, did not experience any odd noises, and whewn we discovered hair dryer was not working, Manager had it replaced immediately. Actually loved the Diner for breakfast,... More

It reminds me of a rodeo bunkhouse with railway workers and truckers laying over at no charge to them (company foots the bill) so they are not big on getting service. You have to call for maid service whose office is located in a tin can diner 40 paces from the bunkhouse. That's where you book in and pay your... More

For starters, you check in at a tin diner next door. The exterior motel doors say guest key required, but the doors remain unlocked all the time, so absolutely no security. WiiFi hangs from the hallway on an extention cord. Very run down. Not even a bedspread on the bed. Just a sheet, blanket and bed runner. Just felt unsafe... More

My husband and I had to stay in Cheyenne unexpectingly and we were told to book at the Oak Tree Inn; the shuttle picked us up from our broken down semi and took us back through town. We were directly across from the Mall and lots of resturants. The hotel came with breakfast each morning from a fantastic diner on... More

The rooms are filthy and a powerful air freshener is used to mask the odors. The wireless internet works intermittently and is outdated and in dire need of an upgrade. The hotel also filters what internet content can be viewed which is censorship at it's finest...why should they be concerned with what I view in the privacy of my room? More

Even though they have rooms reserved for the rail road people, the staff was very accomindating. I thought that we were getting a room with two full beds but the manager put us in a king room. Nice. The diner has an excellent breakfast selection and fast service. More
