I have stayed in wonderful AmericInns, but this was not one of them. The room was very spartan, not aesthetically pleasing at all. The carpet was filthy. The place could use a good re-vamping. Service at check-in was average. The front desk clerk loudly announced my room number so that all could hear (and everyone in ear shot was male). which made me (a solo female traveller) extremely uncomfortable. I am very sure AmericInn would not encourage this. Also, they had some problems with their routers, so half the motel did not get wireless service. I asked for a room in the half that did. But this appeared to be a lot to ask for, as the clerk was a bit grumpy about changing my room. The breakfast was very average, no lids for the coffee cups, so no way to take coffee on the road with me. On the positive side, the towels were fluffy and plentiful, the water pressure in the shower was great, and they have nice flat screen t.v.s in the room.
